Curated Photo Collections
I don't go on a hike without my camera, and I try to hike at least a few times a week. I've been doing this for almost a decade so the photos have added up to hundreds of thousands. Of course most are garbage but even a 1% success rate will yield a lot of good photos. Here I have curated a few collections of photos from my various adventures in different parts of the country. Taking pictures is how I remember places. Once that shutter has clicked it's as if the image is imprinted onto my brain as well as the camera's sensor. I understand the world through imagery and seeking out pleasant lighting and compositions propels me towards a more beautiful world.
