Five Aces Media Store

Welcome to the Five Aces Media store. Here you'll find all my work for sale in its various mediums. This includes books, DVDs and Prints, but it's not limited to these items. If you have a custom project in mind, let me know and I'm sure we can work something out.

The books are collections of short stories and trail journal entries that I have collected on my adventures. The stories are insightful about more than just hiking, they aim to translate lessons learned on the trail into lessons for life. These stories are accompanied by big, beautiful photos as well. Those books are meant to be both a coffee table book to lightly skim through and a deeper story to be pondered over slowly.

All three of my hiking documentaries, made under the Five Aces Media label are available on DVD here. A Sense of Direction (2015), Yooper Tours (2017), and Figure it Out (2018).

All of my photos are for sale as prints or digital downloads on the Five Aces Media store too. I take thousands of pictures a year and I post hundreds online. It would be a nightmare trying to keep inventory of individual prints so I sell my photos by size and print type. Simply chose weather you want a canvas wrap, or original print and purchase your desired size. Once on the checkout page, you can specify which images you'd like to have printed. Adventure Books

Collections of short stories and trail journal entries that go beyond just detailing the wilderness experience. These books use the lessons and metaphors found in the wilderness and explain how we can apply them to everyday life. They use the wilderness experience as a metaphor for life itself and how it teaches us things about ourselves that would be hard to learn in any other setting. The stories are accompanied by big, beautiful pictures from Alex Maier's adventures as well.
